I’m so thankful for all God’s done for me
How He daily sustains me and I don’t even see
He daily strengthens my body,mind, and soul
I would have fainted long ago, the truth be told
I’m thankful for my husband, my children, family and friends
I pray grace, mercy and peace for them without end
I’m thankful for shelter, food and even a car
God, I’m so thankful you’ve bought me safely thus far
There is one thing though that I’m the most thankful for
A tremendous blessing I just can’t ignore
You sent your only Son to die and remove sin from me
And without His sacrifice my soul would not be free
I’m also very thankful; you didn’t want me to be alone
You sent me your Holy Spirit, because I am your own
Your Spirit comforts and guides, He reveals my God to me
Without His gentle leadings, I don’t know where I’d be
The thing that touches me the most is how God loves me so
His word says it, the Spirit confirms it, and somehow I just know
I’m thankful for the power of His love that removes all my doubts and fears
If I could just learn to trust Him, I wouldn’t have need for these tears
Yes, I have so much in my life to be so thankful for
For God choosing me, for my life, and so much more
I’m thankful, I’m grateful, mere words just cannot say
I love God, I praise Him, and I’ll thank Him everyday
